Farsi Immersion Classes

Our Afghan Farsi immersion classes are designed to help students learn the language through conversation, movement, games, and real-life interaction. Rather than sitting indoors and memorizing vocabulary, students learn outdoors in Balboa Park through playful activities that make the language feel natural, memorable, and alive.

The program is especially designed for children and families who want to stay connected to Afghan heritage in a practical and enjoyable way. Students are introduced to everyday Afghan Farsi words, phrases, greetings, cultural expressions, and simple conversations while participating in group games and activities. The goal is to help students build confidence using the language, not just recognize it on paper.

These classes also create a meaningful bridge between language and culture. Through Afghan Farsi, students are exposed to the rhythms, values, humor, manners, and traditions carried through Afghan family and community life. The program helps younger generations connect with their roots while giving families a shared space to learn, practice, and celebrate Afghan heritage together.
